The Social Security System (SSS) encourages its members to download the SSS Mobile Application through Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei App Gallery to take advantage of the convenience of having their transactions made with just the tap of their fingers.
According to SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Aurora C. Ignacio, the state fund aims to improve the ease of doing transactions with SSS and lessen long lines in its branches through the free mobile application.
“With the SSS Mobile App, members can easily transact with the SSS anytime and anywhere through their smartphones or tablets instead of visiting the nearest SSS branch,” Ignacio said.
The SSS Mobile App allows members to view their contribution records, membership information, location of SSS branches, and status of their benefit claims, salary loan and loan balance. They can also update their contact information, register to My.SSS, submit salary loan application and maternity notification, and generate and edit Payment Reference Number (PRN).

Over 2.38 million downloads have been recorded in the Google Play Store for the mobile app making it the third most downloaded app in the Free Productivity Category as of October 2019. It also has over 261,000 downloads in the Apple App Store which also puts it at the third spot in the Free Utilities Category. It also landed the second spot in Huawei App Gallery under the finance category despite its recent release last October 7 with over 18,000 downloads.
The SSS Mobile App runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and iOS 8.0 or higher.
Members can also conduct their transactions efficiently by using other SSS online service facilities such as My.SSS portal on its official website, SSS Self-Service Express Terminal (SET), Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), Text-SSS and contribution payments through online channels.
