If you are an active member of the Social Security System (SSS) and have a Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) card, you may want to upgrade it to the new SSS UMID Pay Card Account.

Step 1: Log in to your My.SSS Member account or create one if you haven’t yet. Make sure your information in SSS is accurate and up to date.
Step 2: In your My.SSS account, go to the “E-Services” menu and consent to share your UMID Application Data with UnionBank. This will allow UnionBank to verify your identity and facilitate the upgrade process.
Step 3: Download the UnionBank mobile app from the AppStore or PlayStore. Open a UMID ATM Pay Card account within the app.
Step 4: Enter the Transaction ID provided in your My.SSS account and fill out the required information to open your account. Make sure that the details you provide match your personal information in your My.SSS account.

Step 5: Wait for your new SSS UMID Pay Card Account to be delivered to you within 15 banking days for Metro Manila and 20 banking days for provincial addresses. Your new card will be sent to the address you registered in your My.SSS account.
Step 6: Once you receive your new card, activate it and assign a PIN using the UnionBank Mobile App. You can also link your new account to your existing My.SSS account to monitor your transactions and balances.
